Sending us your postage stamps is an easy way to help raise funds. These are collected and sorted by our lovely supporter Lynn Burnell who is ably assisted by her dachshunds Tillie and Twiggy both adopted from Many Tears. We accept both used and new stamps including those from overseas and all money made from the sale of these goes straight to Many Tears.

It’s important that stamps are trimmed leaving 13mm (½ an inch) around the edge of the stamp. It does not have to be neat because they are sold by weight not how they look but if there too much paper around them buyers are getting more paper than stamps and that can cause problems. If they are cut too close and it goes into the perforation around the edge of the stamp they become worthless.

If posting stamps please put a large first or second class stamp on the envelope no matter what the size. This is because when you put stamps in a small sized envelope it lays flat but they end up all falling down to one end of the envelope and the post office makes us pay the extra AND a penalty!
