As well as ex-breeding dogs in the UK Many Tears also takes those in The Republic of Ireland. The dogs need passports which we pay for and we also pay for the passports for some of the dogs we take from countries like Romania, Greece and Croatia and others.
Passports are vital to help those dogs in truly desperate need of help and without them there is very little chance of them ever knowing what a life in a home with people who love them is like. The ex-breeding dogs are scared as most have never seen the outside world before but the dogs from other countries are scared because they have seen the outside world but nothing in it was nice and they have often witnessed unimaginable cruelty. Passports for The Republic of Ireland ex-breeding dogs and dogs from other parts of the world play a major part in changing their lives. It is the stepping stone they need to start their journey here and find peace and happiness for the first time in their lives.
We are hoping you can help us raise funds for passports by donating any old gold or silver you may have that you no longer need or want to our SAS fund. Broken chains, odd earrings or jewellery you no longer wear. Nothing is too small it all adds up and when added together it can raise these much needed funds. Please search your drawers, your jewellery boxes and ask friends and family to do this too. Broken jewellery will be weighed in and whole pieces will be auctioned or sold though auction sites or jewellers.
If you can help please send any gold and silver items to:

or if you would prefer to make a donation for SAS you can do this by PayPal
Many thanks for your anticipated support in helping to build a brighter future for dogs without hope.
When an ex-breeding dog enters a home for the first time it’s scary….. They have been taken away from the only place they known; they were probably born there and have no idea of the better life out there waiting for them.
They are held close to let them know everything is going to be OK…. but they have no experience of human kindness and are stiff and uncomfortable in your arms
IMAGINE IF THE DOG IS ALSO BLIND
They can’t watch from a safe distance, they won’t see the other dogs tails wagging as they get a fuss from you. How can this dog learn that their new life can be a good one when they can’t see?
Cataract operations cost at least £2000 (even with a discount)…. but the change to a dogs’ life is priceless so please donate and help us give a dog the Gift of Sight if you can.
Thank you
What becomes of the broken hearted? At Many Tears we try to fix them. Quite often we get puppies who arrive with heart conditions like Pulmonary Stenosis or Patent Ductus Arteriosus. If surgery is performed at an early age very often their lives can be saved. Depending on the problem these operations can cost several thousand pounds.
In addition to this we have several dogs who arrive with high grade heart murmurs which need medication to improve their lives.
If you would like to help us save a puppies broken heart or help an older dog’s heart to beat a little longer all donations to our Broken Hearted Fund would be very gratefully received.
Thank you
