To become a Many Tears Home Checker you must have your own transport and need to be friendly, approachable and reliable. You must also have a good knowledge of dogs and a keen eye to spot possible problems especially regarding the security of a garden.

If you are asked to complete a home check it’s really important that you do this within 48 hours so we can move forward with the adoption application.

You will receive an email from us prior to doing a home check which will contain all the areas we ask you to cover and we need you to email back your findings regarding each point in the email.

It’s very important you do not to tell the potential adopter whether they have passed or failed their home check as this is for the rescue to decide and they will contact the adopter.
